Dalley Family

"Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived."

Some more pics from the baptism.
Our attempts to get a picture with Josh in it.

Notice Joshs leg in the background and then climbing on Steve. He can never be to far from his daddy.

Grandma and grandpa Moyes, Grandma and Grandpa Dalley also were there but we did not get pictures because they were running a little behind.

Vacation!!!

I have tried to put this up so many times and then I have accidentally erased it. I will keep my fingers cross that this time it will work.wuhdufhiuhu, dang it I will uncross them now because typing is to hard.
We just got back from a wonderful vacation at mom and dad Moyes's cabin. This is my favorite place to go, I look forward to it all year long. This year I am definitely more tired than I have ever been though because I went straight from girls camp with no sleep to the cabin where we also did not sleep to home where Josh has continued to get a mouth full of teeth.
We also were a little weary of going this year because of the warning that my parents gave to us about the rattlesnakes this year. I figured we would be ok but made a mental note to be a little but more careful, well guess what Lexi ran in to the very first couple of hours that we were there............
That lovely thing. Now that it is all said and done it is funny but it was little unnerving at the time. We had just got to the cabin and decided that we would walk to the river, on our way back Lexi wanted to be the leader up the hill so she was a ways up and Steve and I were just talking along then I hear Sam say,
"Is that a snake?"
I look up to see lexi standing over a HUGE snake that was sunning in the path, the problem was that she had already walked over the snake and it was between us and her, I really think the snake could have cared less about her and would have left her alone until she decided to let loose a scream the made the wildlife 500 miles away look for cover. I very calmly said Lexi walk very quickly up the hill, the whole time I am saying this I am trying to get a good look at its tail to see if there were any rattles. But my calmness was futile, Lexi continued to scream and decided to run back down the hill STEP on the snake, the snake by then was mad and decided to coil up and strike at her, luckily for her she was nothing but dust by then to the snake she was running so fast. A warning to all siblings though that are going to be going up soon, the snake was again there the next day. It was not a rattlesnake just a nasty blow snake with a bad temper, who we have now lovingly names Larry.
The rest of the week was awesome. Mom and Dad Dalley brought up the boat and mom and dad Moyes and all of us went for a fun ride around the lake. Some of my pictures are really messed up though because my white balance was off, please forgive.

Josh always had to see what Steve was doing.

Lexi screaming because she was convinced that there was a shark in the river.
A couple of pictures from when we stopped in Murtaugh for a couple of days to see our cousins, we decided one day to go to Shoshone falls and Dierkes lake to do a little swimming. The girls had so much fun. Oh and if you notice Lexi is not in the picture of the falls, that is because she is deathly afraid of everything, that is why her running in to the snake was the worst thing that could have happened.
Lexi getting away from the falls after yelling at her cousins that they were all going to die. Grandma trying to calm her down.

Josie and Lexi really had a lot of fun together.
Pictures of the cabin again.

Josh could not get enough of his hot self at the lake. He would walk around rubbing his belly.

Josh took the co-captain seat next to grandpa.
Now I know that I am not the best at posting pictures of myself, if you noticed I did do a few in the early pictures, now consider yourself lucky or unlucky to see the next two of me wakeboarding,

That is my calf.....no I did not say that I was a baby cow, that is in fact my leg, the rest of my body was being drug unmercifully under the water.
Oh look that is me in a swimsuit!

Grandpa once again trying to kill me early, he allowed both my girls to drive the boat at one time or another.
Thank you mom and dad moyes for letting us go to your wonderful cabin, thank you grandma and grandpa Dalley for coming up and bringing your boat.
