We have been tagged

Ok so Annie tagged us awhile ago to write 10 things that we splurge on and 10 that we will not. We are so cheap so it has taken us a few days to come up with our list.

1. Anything medical or health related. When it comes to feeling better or my family feeling good I will pay for it. We are putting Sam in a biofeed back program that is going to be crazy expensive but it will be worth it if she can feel better.

2. Disneyland. We have gone twice. I have saved like you would not believe so that we could go and it was so worth it. We had so much fun.

3. Steve's computers. We have to get the expensive kind because Steve has to edit videos on them. This is not a fun splurge for me.

4. Running shoes. I did not believe is buying expensive shoes and then Steve made me buy a pair(they were only $40)because my knees are so bad and they are so nice. I now agree that you need nice running shoes so that you can save your joints.

5. Formula. Ok this is a cruddy splurge. but when it makes a difference between insane nonstop screaming or a normal child than we buy the $25 a can formula. Steve says that Josh will only accept gourmet stuff. Hopefully only 2 more months and then he is going to have to take the walmart brand.

6. Jeans. Thanks to my friend Melissa and a girls night out I learned that cheap jeans make my bum look saggy. Who knew!

7. Lip gloss(me not Steve). I have an addiction to lip gloss. It is really weird. I have done so well though because I have not bought any for 6 months.

8. Fertilizer. Steve has to have his grass looking pretty and green.

9. Long distance. I have to talk to my mom and sisters all the time and Carrie. Steve knows that if i don't talk to them then I will talk to him!!!

10. Gym memberships. I have to have the gym, it keeps me sane and therefore my family stays happy.

NON SPLURGE

1. Food . Everything is generic Walmart brand.

2. Diapers. Once again Walmart.

3. Makeup. (Lip gloss does not count) I hate it and refuse to spend money on it. I
have tried to buy it and I end up looking ridiculous.

4. Cars. We had a nice car once and we hated the payment so we traded it in and and got a cheap van that runs really well and we hardly have any payment. Steve drives our old car.

5. Furniture. Everything that we have is from the DI except some end tables that Steve bought me. I figure that when my kids are gone I will get nice furniture.

6. Movies. We never see a movie when it first comes out we just wait till it goes to the dollar theater.

7. Crafts. I can't do them.

8. Josh clothes. We have been REALLY blessed and everyone we know that has had a boy gives us there hand me downs.

9. Vacations beside Disney. Our tradition and family vacation is to go to mom and dads cabin(thank you mom and dad) and spend a week. We love it and it only cost us food and gas.

10. Books. I love to read but we just go to the library A LOT. I figure that I read them so fast that it is a waste to buy them.

That was fun. All right I am tagging Brenda, Melissa, Ashley and Katie.

Ok I am still learning how to use this blog so apologize that it is such a mess. I tried to put this next to the pics but it did not work out. Oh well!
Sam has started school, sigh. That is the pics with her in her striped dress. I hate it when she has to go. I know that I should be happy but school has been so stressful for her and us that I hate it when it starts again. She has such a good attitude though. She is in a new school again this year. Poor girl has been in a new school every year that she has gone. She is doing better. She has a teacher that seems really nice and has worked with kids with aspergers.
Steve has started school again, he actually has been going for about 5 weeks now. He seems to like the class that he is in now and we are counting down until next year when we are DONE. WOOHOO. He is really busy with work and still enjoying it.
Lexi is doing great. She is getting used to Josh and even talking to him every once in awhile. She starts preschool in a couple of weeks and is really excited.
Josh is doing good. He is SO BIG. He is wearing 6 month clothes and he is not even 2 months yet. He loves to smile. His sleeping is horrible but I keep hoping that in a few months it will get better. He eats at 11 and will not go to sleep until 12 and then he is up at 2 and cries until 5 and then he eats again but he doesn't go back to sleep until 6:30 and then the girls are up!! So I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will start bypassing that 2 mess.
Most of these pics are of his cute smile. There are also pics of when we took the girls to pineview reservoir. It was in June so it was awhile ago but we had a lot of fun.
I am doing great, a little overwhelmed but good. I thought last year was hard with Steve in school and having mono but having a 3rd and him being in school is crazy!!
All in all i feel very blessed though to have my children and for Steve to have the opportunity to get his MBA.

My babies are growing up

Oh my little cutie

Some more pics of Josh!
I can not put pics on very much now because I broke a cord that goes to the computer so I can only put pics on when the laptop is home. So I will try and do them on Sundays
These pics of Josh with the bib on are his first pictures of him pouting. THe docter informed us that he is eating too much and we have to make him slow down. He does NOT like this. He is almost 15 pounds at 7 weeks!! The others are pics of him hanging out with his sisters. He loves to stare at Sam. When I can figure out how to put video on I have some really cute ones of him talking to her.
And for those of you that are wondering how Lexi is doing, she is doing better not being the baby anymore. We even got her to kiss Josh on the cheek and then she wiped her mouth and said yuck!! Progress.

The pictures of Josh sleeping are of me trying VERY hard to wake him up. Do you think that is was working?
THe ones in the bouncer are of him watching cartoons with Sam and Alex. Sam loves for him to do this with her. He never watches the TV he just smiles at Sam

Pictures with Great Grandparents. And I could not help but take this funny pic of every one sleeping
