Moving

The sunset as we drove in to Idaho
Our new home town.

Our computer and phone line have been messed up for over a week so I have not been able to update our blog.
I think about everyone knows now that we are moving. I am sad to leave the best neighborhood and friends but so excited for this new opportunity.
I have thought a long time about this announcement and what I would write on our family blog for the memories....you will now have to such your eyes and run screaming because this is where I get sentimental.
I have prayed for something like this for so long. For almost 10 years to be exact! I have always wanted to live in the country, I feel more at home and more relaxed. I always wanted to raise my kids in a smaller town. At first i would pray so hard for some type of opportunity to move to a small town, it did not happen. When Steve was in school I kept telling myself that is was all worth it because when we were done we could move to maybe a smaller town. Did not happen. I got really bitter in about June feeling like we had hit a wall. I was frustrated, I just wanted so bad to have a change and felt like the last two years were a waste. I went through a pouting faze and then one day decided that it was getting me no where. I was also reading the book, "How to hear the Lords voice" I highly recommend it. The book helped me to see a lot of things that I was doing wrong, I decided that I needed to change my prayer and ask to have peace in the situation I was in and to find joy.
I felt like I was doing a lot better and was even able to find things that I really enjoyed about living in a larger city.(I know that this not the biggest city but to me it is huge!)
In September Steve told me about this job in Victor, Idaho. I did not think anything about I figured it would be a bust. The company called us the end of September and wanted to interview Steve. I then started to look up Victor and started to get excited about the prospect. Last week they offered Steve the job and we accepted. Steve took me up there last weekend to see if I like the area, as we drove down in to the valley he looked at me and said that he could not have got any closer to my dream area. I totally agreed it is so beautiful with lots of outdoor recreational activities to do. We are going to have to get the kids all snowboarding because we live a couple miles from Grand Targhee. The only draw back that I can see is that the cost of living is crazy expansive, and the winters are long and hard. But you can't have everything perfect right!
The desicion to leave Steve's company was hard though, they are a really good company and he loved the people he worked with.
Now we just have to sell our house so if you no any one that is looking please tell them about our house.

I am so sad! We will miss you guys. I still have the option of sabotaging the sale of your house right?? That's it! We are going to stop taking care of our lawn and maybe we will find a few junky cars to park along the road. What other "white trash" things could we do? hmmm.

How much are you guys going to ask for you house? That's sad you're moving but I'm also very excited for you. Everything works out when it's right. We want to move too, so I'm glad other people are leaving, makes me feel not so bad.

Yeah, we're screwed. Nobody is going to pay for ours when they can get yours so cheap! That price will get 'em for sure though.

I cannot tell you the ache in my heart when I heard that you were moving. I truly love you, girl. I have looked up to you since the day you got here. I love how genuine and real you are....what a good person you are. I am, however, happy that your dream is coming true. You totally deserve it. Thank you for your kindness, patience, & friendship that you have so freely given. ...Can't replace people like you (or the Hatch's). Real people, who love and serve the Lord with all their heart. Wish I could go with you. I am sure you know just how much I really do mean that...,being from a small town and etc. ...Will never forget you, ever. Thank you, my friend.
