What really is important
I have a friend that lost her husband very suddenly last month, she has been writing her feelings and her thoughts in her blog for awhile now. If you have a minute you should go and read it. She has such an amazing testimony even through this horrible trial. She is trying to still live her life for her son but has so much pain inside her heart. Her last entry is very hard and makes you stop and think about what is really important.
I pray for you every day Leslie and I wish that you did not have to carry this pain.

you have been such an amazing friend throughout all of this that i have been experiencing. i have come to realize that my family has been SO great and you kindof just expect that they will be there to comfort you and lift you up... that is what families are for... but it is amazing to me how the friends i have are continuing to come through for me time and time again. you don't have to, but you do. you will never truly know how grateful i am for you.

I spent a good part of Saturday morning reading through Leslie's blog and cried through most of it. It is just so heartbreaking! Thanks for suggesting that I read it. Things like that always help me to re-focus on what is really important.
I second Leslie. You are a GREAT friend and I can't imagine a better one to help me through a rough time. I started reading through her blog but had to stop, I couldn't read it through my tears. Trevor tried too, he got farther than me but still wound up crying. She's an inspiration and we are thinking of her. Thanks for sharing.
