Lexi turned 5 today. I was thinking back about memories with Lex and I remembered a time in Texas when she was 2. We lived way out in the country and one morning I had to run outside to grab something, I was still in my pjs and my hair resembled sagebrush(thanks to the humidity). When I went to get in to the house the door was locked. Lexi was sitting in front of the TV watching Regis and Kelly. I knocked on the door and asked her to open it and she would just yell NO! Then she would laugh hysterically at the tv every time the studio audience would laugh like she understood them. I finally demanded that she open the door and she looked at me and said shhhhhhhhh. So I had to flag some cowboy done and ask him to call my husband because my child would not let me in the house and that was after I ran almost a mile to the nearest neighbor pounded on the door, nobody answered but I can not blame them I am sure when they looked through peep hole all they saw was hair. I have many memories of Lex but it is late and I am tired. I can not believe she is 5. Happy Birthday Alexandria Colleen Dalley, I love you! Oh and Congratulations to my new nephew who will be sharing a birthday with Lexi. he was born today at 8 pounds 6 oz. Ver big, in fact he was so big he broke his arm being delivered. Poor Amanda!

Happy Birthday Lexi! I can't believe how big she is! How fun to share her birthday with her cousin, that is pretty cool!
Happy birthday Lexi! I remember when we went to visit you in the hospital and your mom didn't want a pink bow on your head. So we snagged red, yellow, and purple for you ;) You were beautiful then and you're even more beautiful now!
Happy birthday Lexi!
That is such a funny story. I can't believe that she is 5! HOly cow!
I remember once when we were at Lisa's for a playdate and you told us about Lexi going down the stairs on her butt after taking off a dirty diaper. We could all see the poop smears in our minds. I couldn't imagine that cute little baby making such a mess. I was pregnant at the time with Emaon. Those were words of wisdom you shared, because Eamon turned out the same way. STILL IS. Maybe he was listening in utero.
who took that first photo? that is beautiful. :)
