Service

On Saturday Sam and Lexi decided that they wanted to do service for our neighbors, they wanted to pick up any garbage in peoples yards and rake their leaves. This was great and I was so proud of them until Steve said that they were dumping there service in our yard. And they were doing just that, they would fill up a box and a cooler with leaves and then dump it in our yard, they even recruited the kids on our street and assigned one girl to pick up the garbage and the rest of them raked leaves. We did stop the little girl from transferring the garbage in our yard. When I went out to take this picture they had a song that they were singing about how service is so much fun. It was definitely worth having them dump the junk in our yard because all they talked about was how they wanted to do more service all night.

A poor neighbor put to work.

Look how well she works with her left arm.

The start of their service pile.

Bringing another load of leaves.

Steve and Josh watching same late night tv. We thought that Josh would get tired of watching tv and go to sleep but he thought being up with daddy was a lot of fun.

That is hilarious! I love that they dumped it all in your yard.
Whatever keeps them busy~
that is funny. i was driving past your house yesterday and they were all outside, so i stopped to say hi and they said that they were doing service. they were quite proud of themselves. i thought it was cute. maybe you should ask them to do service IN the house and ask them to wash the dishes. :)
Service. Like mother like daughter. Sam comes by it honestly! I've had to catch up on your blog, since I've been without a computer. Loved the halloween pics! And poor Sam! I'll have to read all of the comments to see if it's mentioned but how did she do that? Give her loves from me!
