Summer fun

I do not have any pictures, i keep leaving my camera in the car every time we go somewhere.
Steve said the other day that it felt like we were always on vacation because of all the fun stuff that we do every weekend, I agree. We have made some great friends that know of all the fun things to do in the area so every weekend we are running around trying something new.
Last weekend we canoed the string lakes in the Teton National forest. Water was freezing but how can you complain when the tetons are right above you and you are canoeing over crytal clear water with great friends and family.
This week we went to fire hole river. This is supposed to be a river that is warm because of geysers that are upstream that heat the water. It was COLD! But in retrospect if you consider how cold mountain waters are then this was a little warmer but definately not fire warm. We put life jackets on and jumped in to the river and would float down strream. Sam as always had little or no fear so she would jump in the river fight the current and swim to the other side where she would hike farther upstream and jump in to another set of rapids. I did it once with her but decided once was enough because I slammed my foot pretty hard on a rock. Do no worry grandmas and grandpas she always was with an adult. Lexi like usual was scared but since I am an extremely mean mom I jumped in with her screaming and yelling. Her screams echoed down the canyons walls, people stopped to see what was going on. As soon as her feet hit solid ground she jumped up and yelled lets go again. After that we could not keep her out of the water. One scary moment whith Steve and Josh but all worked out in the end with the help of a nice man. After that we ran like crazy home changed in to other clothes and went to a barbacue up in the mountains, great company a lot of fun.
I will put the pictures up of the girls first day of school hopefully later in the week.
