Dalley Family

Finally

http://jacksonhole.locale.com/media/galleries/jackson+wy/regions/teton+valley+idaho+real+estate/teton_valley_2wvs1003.jpg

Well we finally have Internet. We are here, it has been a really long week.
I was so sad to leave, every one made it so much harder by being so nice to us while we were moving. We had so many meals, night out with friends, gifts, people watching my kids, and an awesome group of people to help us move. Man we miss you guys.
The drive up was absolutely horrible, we were on the road at 10:30 and we did not reach our destination until 9:00. It is only a 4 hour drive. I was so thankful for our families, Shauna and Richard let us borrow there truck to help us move and save us a lot of money, they also stopped in Salt Lake on there way to vacation to help us with just one of the many problems that we had. My very sweet and busy mother and father waited forever for us in Pocatello so that my mom could help me in the drive and with the kids. Stacy and Richie stayed in Pocatello forever to help us move our stuff in to the new house.
I love family, and I happen to have the best.
Our new home is beautiful, I have huge windows all over that face the beautiful mountains, our first morning we woke up to deer outside our windows.
Speaking of windows, unfortunately the housing market has also crashed here along with the the rest of the nation, because of that every house around is vacant, or at least we thought,
unfortunately we have figured out that the house next to us in fact does have people living in it. This we did not discover until the second day after a night of unpacking showers and looking for our darn clothes. We may have introduced ourselves to them in a way that is not only uncomfortable for them but us also. Did I mention that the HUGE windows do not have curtains or blinds........., and to think that I am not even in the best shape.....awkward. What does one do after a situation like that, do you take the customary plate of cookies over or just avoid eye contact? Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
The kids have started school and love it, they were really nervous but seem to mesh right in with the other kids and already have bff's. The school district have a mandatory Winter sports program where the kids have the opportunity to either learn ice skating, skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, or swimming. Of course Sam wants to do Ice skating, we are still trying to convince her that snowboarding is so much more fun, what can you do.
I shall go to sleep now because I mentioned earlier we do not have any curtain on the window so that means that my children are up bright eyed and grumpy at about 6:20 give or take 5 min.

Can't wait to see pictures of the house (hint, hint), but I'll try to be patient so you can get settled first! Sounds like you're in heaven!

I think you should take a plate of cookies over to the new neighbors in the buff! Then they will just think a new family of nudists moved in! :) It is alway good to keep your neighbors on their toes.

The house sounds perfect and in a great location. I really hope you guys have the best time there and that your ward is even half as good as ours. We love you and miss you already. We won't know what to do without our favorite home teacher.

Awkward...that is an understatement. Wow! You are beautiful though, and in great shape. If there is any problem, it would be with any guy who saw you wanting to steal you away from your hubby! Glad to hear that school is going well for the girls. I am soooooooo jealous! You already knew that though, huh... So happy for you. Sorry that the move was difficult. You are right, families are wonderful. Glad you have a good one that will take good care of you guys for those of us "left behind". We sure miss and love you guys. Keep in touch. Oh, and the book is absolutely wonderful! Thanks!

We are glad there aren't very many large windows here. The thought of seeing some of my neighbors just isn't right. I hope the best for your situation. At least the "ice is broken" and you have something to talk about. hahahaha
We miss you guys. Why did it take so long to get there? Did the Grinch trailer make it ok?

We miss you already! I still can't believe you are gone! I will be calling in a few weeks when I am in Idaho. Have you gotten any offers on your house yet? How is the new job going? Hopefully you have gotten some blinds or maybe started wearing some clothes!
