My new BFF and EVER!!!!

So I have mentioned that I have been super busy, now let me explain why. Not that life was not crazy enough I decided to completely renovate our kitchen. My intentions were good because I planned on doing it the week that Steve had off from school. So the weekend before we bought the supplies and I started to take the tile out one by one. Steve then had to go out of town on business so I was not too worried because we would still have two days before he started school again. We were SO wrong, the tile was a beast to get out and the flooring is not as easy to put in as everyone says it is. Then we decided we should paint the cabinets and repaint the walls at the same time. I feel we may have inhaled to much cement. So we have been living in a MESS that I have been trying to get done all by myself because Steve is never home to help. Things were not going very well because for some reason my children feel that I should also be feeding them and taking care of them.
Well yesterday morning Steve finished a test and we ran to Home Depot with every intention of finally getting our kitchen done. Once again we so miscalculated the amount of time and those pesky children, but then(imagine angels singing) our friends and lovely neighbors came to the rescue. Brett and Jason spent all of their Saturday helping us figure out the darn floor, and if that wasn't enough to bring a tear to my eye my other neighbor took my baby and Brett's lovely wife(who I consider a friend but unfortunately I am nothing but a member of her ward to her!:)) Amanda took Lexi and THEN fed us that night. By the way how much sugar did Lexi have she threw up all night, I am not complaining though.
Seriously thank you so much to the men for spending their free day and helping us out and thanks to the wives for sacrificing your husbands. We owe you so big. The kitchen is almost done and as soon as we get everything in we will pot pics.

*oh and the whole thing about being a ward member of Amanda's is just a little inside joke and me just teasing her.

How fun, I can't wait to come and see your kitchen. Isn't nice to have good friends and neighbors. Is that why you left early today so you could secertly finish? :)

Bret & I were truly honored! I keep on seeing yellow spots, I can't think of why though :) We are proud to be your new best friends!

I still can't believe you took pics of us. Where's all of the funny shots of Steve? hahahaha I think in the END it would have been much better than my hairless bigness pics.

I'm just glad there wasn't a comment about Bret & I coming out of the closet :)

I am so offended that my husband is your new BFF and not me. Now we are so even.
And I fed Lexi a PB & J and "cheese", it must have been the cheese.

You painted your cabinets? From what color to what color? I'm curious because I would like to do that too. Was it hard?

Umm, I think I told you once that the flooring was sooo easy to put in. In my defense, we didn't put it in a kitchen, so there was no glue involved:) Can't wait to see the finished project! And on a side note, why did you have to rub it in that I can't go to your yoga classes anymore? So rude! J/K! I do miss it so much though!
